Not a Scam. It's a general outgoing call # from a local hospital

Caller asked for "Brook". I indicated that I knew no one by that name and he apologized for the call and hung up.

when answer its an automated voice recording "you have a call from" and then there is silence and "to except press 1" so when i press 1 it tell me the caller disconnected. when i tried to call the number back it gives you the option to: 1.be put on the do not call list or 2.speak to a rep. i have done both and have asked a number of times for the calls to stop. i am not even sure how this company recieved my number!

They run one of the biggest vacation SCAMS in the country!

Rings every hour or so, no message left - don't know who it is - pain!

got a call on my cell at 5:40pm, didn't answer since I don't know this number

This is a call centre for the National Post. Under the 'do not call list' rules they are allowed to call. I called and was connected to an actual person within 30 seconds who removed me from their list and gave me a confirmation number as reference to the fact that I'd called and been removed. The person I spoke to was quick and very polite.

Let message on my phone saying that I have a complaint agains my SS# and I have to contact them as soon as possible to avoid legal charges against me

Said they were Habitat for Humanity. They were soliciting donations (special after Haiti earthquake). Asked for credit card, which I did not give. I don't think any reputable organization would ask for a cc number over the phone.
